CARISMA Workshop Long-term energy and climate planning in Southeast Europe

This workshop is organised in collaboration with Starfish Energy, Uni-Graz,  Renewable Energy Sources of Croatia, and Club Alpbach Croatia. It's objective is to answer two significant questions, namely how to transform energy and climate plans into actionable and bankable projects in Croatia and the region; as well as what can we do to strengthen the link between energy and climate science, policy and practice in Southeast Europe. In order to achieve this objective, it will bring together the leading experts in energy and climate policy from Europe with some of the most successful investors and practitioners from the region. This side-event explored the implications of such cooperation, which increasingly involves universities and private companies from emerging economies, such as China, India and Brazil, on development and transfer of mitigation technologies.
